end table

This end table consists of steel, glass, and sandstone carefully brought together. Holes for the rectangular steel tubing were water-jet cut out of the circular steel piece, which is supported by a smaller steel disk plug-welded underneath to create an intense shadow at the base. The hardware holders were welded on, as well as caps for the steel tubing. Set screws hold the legs in place while barrel screws support the sandstone piece, allowing for two different colors of powdercoating and for the piece to be broken down for transport.
