This project explores a proposal for a programmatic use that is at the corner of being a trade and a fine art. The building is a trade school for teaching glass-blowing, with review spaces to the west, maker-space in the middle, and exchange spaces that are community-oriented to the East on the busy Bowery. It is a monument to the Manhattan bridge, a connective link between the lower east side and Brooklyn.
