This project is a head and tail scheme that imposes an orthogonal grid system on a sinuous form. Circular fragments are completed in the landscape to let the visitors take advantage of the varying conditions and assets of the site such as water, woods, and sunlight. The project emphasizes the experiential conditions of walking around the Dell pond and uses curves to create convergence and hierarchy of certain points and views around the pond as well as to reflect the sense of sweeping motion of the water.
